Ph.D. student / William & Mary
Hi, I’mHaoyue Bai.
I study multimodal intelligence and how AI systems work together.
I’m a Ph.D. student in Data Science at William & Mary, advised by Prof. Jindong Wang. My research spans multimodal models, multi-model collaboration, multimodal agents, and trustworthy AI.

What I work on.
Understanding across modalities.
Collaboration across models.
I’m interested in connecting multimodal understanding and generation, and coordinating complementary models.
- 01
Multimodal models
Unified understanding and generation across visual and textual modalities.
- 02
Multi-model collaboration
Coordination and routing that bring complementary model capabilities together.
- 03
Multimodal agents
Agents that interact with interfaces and reason over diverse information sources.
- 04
Trustworthy AI
Robustness, diagnostic evaluation, and reliable behavior in changing environments.
